storing old posts/threads as text?

sometimes when I use goolgle, I notice that the search result would be a text only version of a post and not have any graphics or colors. does vB do this automagically or it is a custom script? ;)

Exporting old posts as HTML or text is not a current feature. There is a low bandwidth version of the forums called "Archive". However it is not a true archive and was designed for older and outdated spiders that cannot index dynamic pages properly. It uses webserver functions to trick spiders into seeing a site as standard HTML even though it is still dynamic pages.
