Hi,
I'm allmost ready to buy vBulletin but i have one problem... How the heck do templates work in vBulletin? I'm used to PHPBB templates and I really don't know how to make something that looks like the PHPBB templates I've been making. Help would be very nice :)
P.S. if i can't find out how to work those templates i would like to know how much it would cost me to let someone design a template for me. It's a non proffit community so can't invest to much...

The templates in vBulletin are stored in the Database, unlike phpBB.
You have to edit them though the Style Manager in the Admin CP.

It's pretty easy, you can change colors and buttons, add another header and footer, all on one and the same page.
You don't need a designer for this, if you want a simple style.

Thanks guys :D
it's going to be pretty graphic intense so does that work in vBulletin as well?
For now: how hard would it be to temporary set my current template (www.sleekmac.com) over to vBulletin?

That looks like a very easy job.
Uh, we can't really say much else until you're licensed I think.
Lets just say that isn't a challenge for our template system!

You can also read and ask over at www.vbulletintemplates.com (http://www.vbulletintemplates.com)
