Template engine manual?

Is there a template engine manual I could download?
I would like to create a few additional pages to include into the VB system, that would look like all VB pages just with different contents. I need these pages to be written from scratch, but I have no idea how to use VB template engine to make them look like VB. I've looked through the VB pages, but I would like to have a more detailed information. Thanks.

There's not really a default way to add pages in vBulletin. I advise you use vBadvanced for this.

Sounds interesting. However, I hope you'll excuse my ignorance: where these newly created templates should be stored? In a database or as separate xml files?

vBulletin templates are written in standard XHTML. You can read the specifications at www.w3c.org and www.w3schools.com. There is documentation on vBulletin's specifics in the Templates and Styles section of the online manual (www.vbulletin.com/docs/html) and inline help within your admin control panel.
