wondering how to add a senior moderator that has access to all the forums but doesn't have access to the control panel. i realize i could add them manually to every forum, but i'd rather not and just add their names to specific forums while still giving them access to all the forums. make sense? :D hope so.
thanks in advance.

Make them a Super Moderator.

can anyone suggest a work around for making a moderator that only has control over their specific assigned forum while also having a senior moderator that has their name displayed in specific forums but also has control over all the forums without access to the control panel? thanks. :)

I'm confused as to what you want exactly...
If you want a super moderator, just move the user to the super moderator group.
If you want a regular moderator, just add them to each forum.

2.0 has significantly simplified this system.

ok thanks. maybe i was just got confused? so when i add a moderator they don't have access to all the forums? and the supermoderator has access to all forums, right? and they don't have to be in the moderator column either, right? sorry, first time using vbulletin. thanks. :)
