Since the upgrade to 3.5, every page I get a message "Do you want to allow software such as ActiveX controls and plug-ins to run?"
I thought the enhancements were JS based? Why does your site want to run ActiveX controls on my machine?

You probably have a case of spyware. I haven't gotten a single ActiveX Prompt yet.

The only active x is the Logout function...

Actually, AJAX support in IE has to be done via ActiveX unfortunately.

Well why is this ActiveX loaded for me, since as far as I can tell, even when I do allow ActiveX controlls, I don't get any of the nifty new features outlined? And why should AJAX stuff be loaded for a redirection page?

You can edit thread titles and quick reply uses ajax.
I've got my IE security on medium and no popups here though.
