Over the past few days I have become somewhat annoyed by half a dozen IPB users here whose only purpose is to bash the vBulletin software in every post they make and threadjack the topic. While I always try to avoid responding to trolls, it's clear that those users are way out of line and are disruptive to the community.
I propose limiting the forums that non-customers can post in. For one thing, they should not be able to post in the "Announcements Discussions" forum. They also shouldn't be able to post in the support forums. Giving them read permission for those forums should be sufficient IMO.
Also, I think users who registered just to bash vBulletin should be warned, then banned if they keep doing it, since these users will contribute nothing positive to the forum.
What do you guys think?
