Just a general query about vbulletin forums, while registration I was asked for a birthdate but the same did not get updated in my profile ?

I am asked to enter my birthdate again in profile ?
Just a thought why to enter the same information twice (although entering the same makes it visible to guests)

I had configured my email address (please keep the same private) long time back in priority support. I registered a new account today but I can see a message on top-right.

I can't duplicate this problem on an unhacked 3.0.7 test forum. Can you please provide more info?

Never mind, I just realized you were talking about these forums.

The reason for this is that the birthday during registration is for the COPPA requirements. However since the birthday field is not 'required' under the default registration options, it is not saved.
