Hi!

Here is the top on my previous dedicated server. Is it possible it was an AMD 450 with 96 Mb ram? I only see 50M active and 14M Inact.
Also, does it mean 52.73% of the cpu was used by Mysql?

add them all up, it is 96MB

yes, you have 1 big mysql process running. Not sure what it is but you don't need to worry about it if it dosen't last long. If it is backuping up or sending a newsletter etc then it is very normal.

Thank you Chris for your explanation :)
I had Vb 1.15 with around 50 people online and also several people using phpmychat the day I did that top. It had an old version of mysql too. It was hosted by Virtualis where ram is expensive, this is why I only had 96 Mb and mysql was always at around 40%.
