converting from phpbb2.0.14 to vbulletin 3.0.7

I'm running a phpbb 2.0.14 forum (http://www.radioonev5.com/forum)
but I want to convert it to vBulletin 3.0.7

I downloaded the impex and the vbulletin, installed them on my localhost (apache) for a test
and I tried to convert, I converted and it said everything worked

I went to my VB forum, and nothing was copied from my phpbb
it only took the categories and forums, it didn't take the users nor the topics not the posts

what did I do wrong :(

I'm guessing you haven't sorted the forums display order or the usergroups.

yes I have, i've done exactly as they said, but there are something that I don't understand.

I did the test once again few mins ago, it seems that it copied all the usernames from the phpbb database, but when I try to login with any of the usernames, it gives me that I don't have permission or my username isn't active, something like that..

if I have done something wrong, please tell me where and how to fix it!

it seems I sorted out the usernames thing, I have to delete the "imported users" group so the usernames can work, but the phpbb administrator which is "Admin" is now imported into vb as "imported_admin" why ?

and what about the posts ? :S

Merge the two accounts (your new user, and the old one).

The old user got imported with imported_username so that it did not overwrite your username.,

but my username had nothing to do with *admin* my username was "Snitz" with userid=1 (on vb) and on phpbb it was "Admin" with userid=2, anyway it's not a problem
but what about the threads and posts ? :(

Hmm, sorry, originally it was based on usernames I think the match is now done on emails.

Did you rebuild the counters like the importing instructions and howto tell you to?

oh I just did it
and it worked
I can be very dumb sometimes :D

but the username "admin" which has the most post count, it says that he has 0 post count
in that case, when I convert my true phpbb, the admin with the userid=2 will indicate that he has 0posts :S

I have this problem and I have merged users AND rebuilt the counters.

I still have posts that are shown from "imported_user" vs. "user" and when I click imported user I get the "user" profile. How can I remove the imported_user name from the forum entirely?

I checked the DB, but I can't even find the imported_user as it seems that it was deleted. Merging users again resulted in this error: "Invalid Source Username Specified".
