Import threads and posts but users dont show?

I've run impex against my PhpBB forum to pull the data into Vbulletin.

I can see the posts and threads, but no users.

I can see the users names against the posts but when I click on these I get the message ...

'This user has not registered and therefore does not have a profile to view'.

Any ideas?

Take special note of The End Game section. Following these steps should solve those issues.
