Forum specific user titles ?

Not sure if this is a suggestion or a question...

i need forum specific user titles ? is there that option ? so that each forum has a specific user title we a user posts ? or is that hard to do ?

let me get this straight in my head.

You have 2 different forums, A and B.

I'm a member of your board.

I post in forum A and my title shows as A Member. I post in forum B and my title shows as B Member.

Is that what you're asking? If so, no, and I really don't see this being wanted widely enough to ever be included as a feature, though it can proably be hacked and implemented thru templates.

If I am a member of your forum and restricted to posting in eiter A or B, then yes. Custom Titles can be assigned by Uder Groups.

thanks i just realise what i was asking... reason why it came up was my forum is or will be an amalgamation of a couple of forums

my members from my old board had titles specific to the forum topic

then members of another forum who move over had their titles/ranks

just trying to please everyone :D
