How do I change......

I want to change the background of my forum.

The bit behind the main forum sections.

Highlighted in the attachment.

I tried changing page background to #BEC8CE from #ffffff but it only afected the bits coloured in yellow within the attachment below.

I'd like to use something like :


#869BBF url(images/gradients/gradient_tcat.gif) repeat-x top left

which is used for catagory strips - BUT i'd use a 2x1 pixel white/grey pinstripe to take the edge off the whiteness.

Any ideas chaps?

It's almost impossible to know what's wrong seeing as that isn't vB's default skin.

Yes that looks a lot like a vbskins style, so you might want to ask over at their support forums if you have a problem with it :)
