Hi,
I am looking for a host that provides unlimited space and has an option to pay for dedicated IP. Anyone has suggestion?

No such thing, you might as well buy a dedicated server at that point :)

Actually, I found one that claims to provide unlimited space. But they don't give an option for dedicated IP, so I have to give them up.

Unlimited does not exist you will always find a limit.
Would you mind showing the URL for this company that had unlimited space. because i may just go with them for a month to prove a point ^^. by backing up my HDs to their server and waiting for their email saying i used up my space.

"You get what you pay for" and there is no such thing as unlimited space and or bandwidth hosts. If it seems too good to be true, chances are it is not true.
For dedicated hosting, I can recommend:
The Planet - www.theplanet.com
ServerMatrix - www.servermatrix.com

so i can create a log file on the computer that grows exponentially and i wont ever run out of disk space. Never knew computers could do that these days.

Well, there isn't such as a thing as unlimited, but I do have servers, and I do offer "unlimited/unmetered" plans. If a server ever is full, all I've gotta do is run down and get another hard drive and/or some more memory at the local best buy, which isn't but a few miles. We are always watching our servers, if anything gets to a limit, it'll send us warning messages on our cellphones.
So, I mean, it's really it's not that hard to get up and go buy more parts.

Can I host 5TB of data on your "unlimited/umetered" plan? What about transfer 50TB of data?
You lose credibility by offering unlimited/unmetered plans.

Warning: There is no such thing as unlimited diskspace and/or bandwidth.
Pure and simple. It's not possible, and is false advertizing. There's always a catch in their claims, and some have nasty ones and will bill you for overages.
Fluidhosting offers 1 dedicated IP on their plans (so it's not a $7/mon deal), and SCSI diskspace (so it's smaller -- the large diskspace offers usually come from slower IDE disks).

Well, if you can host that much, more power to you. But anyways, there's no catch or anything. I host all kinds sites, small and middiem size sites. However, I do host a few larger sites that require their own servers. Which they do have. I don't mind.

Could I get that in writing? Metered connection? My site currently uses in a range of about 2500GB to 3000GB of bandwidth a month and could easily use 5000GB (and have) to do everything we want to do but are limited by bandwidth overage cost. I do not doubt your word but I have learned from experience that you are indeed limited on certain things because it simply cannot be done in a cost effective way. I have went with sites that offer the so called unlimited packages only to find out I should have read the fine print better, because they would meter the connection or simply shut the site down. There IS a limit to everything. I have to say that I am with the planet now and have no complaints at all with them and everything is straight up and direct so I know exactly what I am getting and I know exactly what to expect. If you do not have some sort of clause saying specifically what "unlimited" really means then you would be in danger of a site like mine or larger coming in and taking up a huge chunk of your resources.
