Hello,

I want to ask everyone here if they have a good, very reliable yet CHEAP hosting solution for a board I am planning on opening up.

I am doing this for a college's student body. The total amount of users would be estimated at around 3,000 and no more than maybe 100-200 people simultaneously using this.

Any information would be great.

Thanks,

Grant

You have already started on the wrong path to looking for a host

have a good, very reliable yet CHEAP hosting solution

Also, you say 100-200 REAL people browsing at once? thats just about a call for a dedicated server in itself, which is not if anything cheap.

ok well I am not talking about $5/month. I own 2 dedicated web hosting solutions at the moment so I know what I am getting into here. But I am asking for recommendations from people that have experience with directly hosting vbulletin, and vbulletin only.

If anyone has any companies to give me, that would be much appreciated!

If you have two dedicated servers then why are you looking for a cheap host?

Nonetheless as Zach said you will need a dedicated server for this many concurrent users and I'm not aware of any cheap ones.

Ok, here are some simpler terms. I am looking to pay $100-200 a month. THAT is cheap. I am looking to start a basis for a forum that will hopefully grow. This is something on the side that I am trying.

But apparently no one has any suggestions.
