Yahoo/MSN Smilies - legal?

Hi,

Was wondering is it legal to use Yahoo/MSN smilies in VBulletin? I had a quick scan through the Yahoo license and couldn't see anything regarding smilies (that's not to say there isn't something there in legal jargon).

Or are there any alternatives that anyone can recommend? I've had a look on the net but can't find anything as good as Yahoo/MSN.
