deleting threads vs. number of posts

Just deleted a bunch of old threads and noticed that members are losing number of posts... I don't like this as we have levels of status on the board, and this really messes things up. What can be done to correct this.

You will have to hack the code.

In version 2.0 you could set the forum to not count posts, delete the threads and then set it back to count posts.
