I am interested in purchasing vbulletin and am wondering if it would work with my host: I contacted them and they said more then likely it would as long as it doesn't require any server side installs. But that I should contact vbullentin to make sure. The features I receive with the host are here: http://www.discountasp.net/features.aspx
If not, does anyone know of a good host that supports vbulletin??
Hope someone can help me. Thank you!

No, you host won't work with vBulletin because they do not provide PHP. You should check the Hosting Options forum on this site to see who our customers are talking as good choices for their vBulletin.

There are tons of good hosts out there, however, I cannot tell just by looking at a features list if a host is right or not.
Your best bet would be to go and look at the vBulletin hosting forum and see what other customers have to say.
Considering you want a php mysql enviroment, discountasp.com might not be the best to host vBulletin.

Thank you. They do offer PHP 4. I was wanting to stick with them because I already a website with them so it's just easier to keep them all with the same host. However if it won't work, then I of course would find another.
Thank you.

they support php4 but you will need to order a mysql database seeing that it is an "Optional Addon (http://www.discountasp.net/features.aspx#addons)"
