I have been running 2 Snitz forums for the last 2 years, but we have now outgrown them and are looking for new features to satify our needs, and I think the VBAdanced CMPS is just the ticket:)

But before I take the plunge and buy a licence I am after some info.

I have read that there is a migration tool from snitz to VB in the members area, I am currently running my snitz on an Access DB and I want to use the VBAdvanced CMPS system, is this a one hit proceedure or will it be a case of several progressions? And I am also quite a novice with code so I this going to be a PITA for me?

I have been wanting to move my current forums for sometime but to be frank the above scares the s*** out of me:confused:

As for the licence, would I be correct in assuming that i purchase that here at vbulletin.com and use the registration/membership for other VB sites like vbadvanced.com. Its seems a lot of people get confused over this whats the best approach? Same username/emails ????

TIA

Al

You can use ImPex:

It works with snitz.

Once you go VB, you never go back. I've used IPB 2 and VB3...and by far VB3 rocks my socks! Take the plunge...you won't regret it. ;)

Cheers guys:)

I have just spoken to my host and it turns out that he has converted several Snitz>VB using the impex, which is good news for me because I have twisted his arm to help out:D

I guess I need to purchase a licence now:rolleyes:

Hi there,

Thank you for your interest in the vBulletin forum software and for your purchase, and for converting from snitz to vBulletin.

I'm happy to see your vB experience is going great so far and how nice of your hosting provider to convert for you (what is their URL?).

Note that addons like vB Advanced are not official vBulletin addons and not coded or supported by our official staff.

Enjoy!
