Treating Google Bot as Member?

I know that some forums (such as Invision) can identify bots and treat them as "Members" rather than "Guests". Since we have forums that are only seen by registered members, this is a useful feature to me.

Can vBulletin identify search engine bots (such as Google) and allow member-only forum areas to be indexed?

There is no function to do this. This requires modifying the code. You can try searching or asking for help with this over at www.vbulletin.org (http://www.vbulletin.org).
