We needed to transfer 5 databases to another server, so I looked at the (very good) manual here at vbulletin.
Only problem was my old host has no telnet access, they have some programm called 4psa to make a backup of the whole website and data.
So I needed to make a backup and manually restore it in the other server.
ok 1 day for downloading it, another day for uploading it!
another day before I get answer from my new host (for some reason they don't answer support during the day , only in the evening)
Now I'm waiting for their reply... 4 days later while normally this should only take 20 minutes from what I have heared.
My question is: 4psa makes 1 mysql file from 5 databases, is this normal and can this be restored in 5 new databases on my new server?
Never done this before and I hope I never have to do this again :(
