See for yourself, personally these images look somewhat surreal. Like poorly disguised renders textured in photoshop.

Just looking at them real quick, I have my doubts over their authenticity. Anyone else think the same?

I doubt the ESA is going to publish "fake" photos; they built a camera just to take these photos :) There is nothing controversial in the images, if there was a little city with green men walking around; I would be more sceptical :)

We have known there is water on Mars for a number of years; however it was previously thought to just be at the poles. The latest suggestion is that water is more widespread; but I am not sure if that is confirmed right now.

It's along the same lines as the moon landing hoax, and that there would be no reason to "fake" these things.

I have no opinion on the moon landing being a hoax or not really. It's just I noticed these images look a little on the strange side and almost photo-manipulated (at least!) :D
