View Full Version : Plesk 7.5 Reloaded not supported under PHP 4.3.10?

I've asked my datacenter to upgrade the vulnerable PHP 4.3.8 on my dedicated box, but he told me that my control panel, Plesk 7.5.2 Reloaded (Unix) hasn't been tested under PHP 4.3.10. Kinda puts me in between a rock and a hard place...risk getting hacked or risk no being able to administer my box...

Any ideas or suggestions?? Or can anyone confirm that Plesk works under the newest version of PHP?

It works perfectly using ART's RPMs...

Plesk runs its own PHP for the Control Panel only, so upgrading the PHP on the server has no effect on it whatsoever.

I have Plesk 7.5.2 w/ Php 4.3.10, Mysql 4.0.23a and eaccelerator

Wont be going back to Plesk when I move to a bigger server however. To much trouble to upgrade and configure php and apache for what you want.

I want to compile from source and clean things up.

Cpanel is what I am going with next

The EASIEST way to upgrade a Plesk server.

All you have to do is follow the instructions on setting yum or up2date up with the right channels and type:

up2date mysql
yum mysql

up2date php
yum php

and it will upgrade those for you :)
