I've setup a spoilerboards.co.uk website which is experiencing high levels of traffic (according to my hosting provider). He sent the following email:

This is a general warning email in regards to your web hosting account with us.

xxxxxx
spoilerboards.co.uk
9.94% memory usage 0.5 Top Process %CPU 11.0 httpd [www.spoilerboards.co.uk] (http://www.spoilerboards.co.uk%5D) [/forums/images/buttons/lastpost.gif] Top Process %CPU 8.5 httpd [www.spoilerboards.co.uk] (http://www.spoilerboards.co.uk%5D) [/forums/index.php?] Top Process %CPU 7.0 httpd [www.spoilerboards.co.uk] (http://www.spoilerboards.co.uk%5D) [/forums/showthread.php?s60ffa94c6350246a1d0cd714a88d18b7&t]

As you can see your account is taking many CPU resources. Please take corrective action asap to avoid account suspension as per TOS.

Since I'm not happy with the hosting anyway, I've decided to move hosting to f5hosting.com. My question is will I still get the problem I have above? I've heard f5hosting are experts at vbulletin - is there a contact there that is highly recommended?

Cheers

Hi vulture!

I host both my boards with F5 and you are quite correct in stating that they are experts with vBulletin. Michael Everhart is the person to contact - he owns F5 and I can absolutely assure you that he not only knows his stuff, but is enormously helpful. He has provided me with plenty of help and I know he has others too ... you really can't go wrong with F5. I can't speak highly enough of the service - and the level of uptime and speed too!

Hope you get yourself sorted out. :)

You are currently showing up as unlicensed. To be able to receive support here at vBulletin.com, we ask you to please click HERE (http://www.vbulletin.com/members/membersupport_priority.php) and enter your email address, to show us that you are licensed.

You will need to use your customer number and password (which will be in the email you got when you paid for your license) to access that page. Please note that your email is case sensitive.

Thank you.

Good luck!

Zachery - you didn't mean that I show up as unlicensed did you? I verified my account here last summer so assume you mean the person before me, but suddenly wondered?

Michael at F5 is excellent, I'm a complete technical numpty and he is always very patient with me.

You'd certainly get all the right advice with him. :)
