5) i noticed the option for different types of support. 'premium thelephone support' and 'standard support'. What does the standard support hold?

1. You will need to pay (30 dollars) after the first 12 months of download access is up. But it is not nessary inorder to run the board.
2. Yeap, only license owners can download vBulletin.

3. There is no free version

5. Standard support includes access to the support forums and the ticket system which is up and running 24 hours a day.

ok, let me get this straight:
1) for an owned version you get to use the code, and modify it anyway you wish
2) you are granted access to support and upgrade versions for a year after download.
3) if you want either forum support or upgrade a version after the first year, you pay $30 a ? year?
4) you can pay $30 again in a later stadium to regain access to upgrade/ support if you stop service for a period after the first 12 months?

You more or less got it.

One thing to mention about 1)
You get to use the code for as long as you want, but if you modify the code, you won't get any official support anymore.

3) You can still get support after the first year. The $30 renewel mainly is for access to the download area to grab upgrades.
