This is what is stange about all the recommendations on this site for vizaweb. They say they don't have any busy boards on their semi-dedicate pland that cost $30 a month. How can they be getting so many recommendations from this site if they don't????

In a support/sales email, I asked vizaweb:
"Do you have any large vBulletin sites on your semi-dedicated hosting plan so that I can view to see the size and speed of the board?"
Answer:
"No not that I know of. The busiest site we have on one of those plan is bellablumaternity.com. They gat about 50 connections per sec."
email back to them:
"I want to make sure I understand, are you saying you do not have any busy boards on your semi-dedicated hosting plans?"
reply
"Not that I can think of off the top of my head."

not everyone has vBulletin ;)

I use vB on my VW account (Pro plan) and it runs just fine :) also they are getting a lot of recommendations because they are:

1. Cheap
2. Really good in the support area
3. Nice
4. understanding
5. fast
6. Lotsa bang for your buck :)

And they also have an affiliates programme which I came out off basically because the service has gone from good to bad.

If you want to check out the real deal with a host then check out hosting forums here's a thread I'm in the process of adding to
