How many users/views?

Hello,
I have a hosting of 100mb and 1gb data transfer! How many users can I have on my forum? Can I run a big forum with it or is it to small?:confused:

You will be fine with 100MB - I have 60,000 posts, and my vB DB is about 75MB. 1GB of transfer will be tough though. You'll probably need more like 2 to 3.

define big ?

honestly i think you should at least have 200 - 300mb web space with 10 - 20gb/month transfer for what i would consider a pretty big forum..

i have 209,000 posts, 2200+ members, 14,100+ threads and generate up to 38,000 pageviews/day or 2,000 visitors/day

now the size of my forum's database is 156MB is size and i use up to 35gb/month with gzip compression enabled.

don't forget when you backup your forum's database and leave the dump on your server that's more space used..

i have 7 database dumps of my forum so that's 7 x 156mb on my server (paranoid with back ups i am hehe )
