vb3 - vb3 dupelicating forums

Hi there, Im importing an old vB3 db (vB 3.0.2) into a patched .5. When i import the OLD board the current boards forums are dupelicated and not imported.
Just wondering if this is just me or a problem?

What do you mean? Are these members already in the forum you are importing into?

Some are, some arent. So im assiciating using the email adress merge function. But i dont under stand why the forums and child forums from the target database are being copied onto it self. Although now the source forum is being copied accross but no posts/threads.

Sorry but that sounds pretty confusing to me. Did you try this import on a test board first as per our recommendations?
