Need advice on consulting fees

I have an opportunity to set up and mange several forums for some optical industry groups. Is anyone else doing something like this as a side business? What I am going to do is:

1. Purchase, install and set up a vB forum.
2. Monthly fees for managing the forum.

Since these are industry=specific forums, they won't have nearly the traffic that many of your forums do. I anticipate a maximum of around 10-15 messages per day.

I would greatly appreciate some advice on what to charge for these activities, particularly from people who are already doing something similar. Thanks.

Considering my job of 14 years was just eliminated, I'd have to agree that this would indeed be a 'nice job'. :D

It's actually just one facet of an optical consulting business I'm setting up.
