Cached Posts Lifespan
Number of days to maintain a cached copy of a post. This makes threads faster to display, but means that each post takes approximately twice the storage space.

Will it help lower the server load if we have higher number of date to maintain?

Like will it be better to have 14 days vs 7 days?

thanks

Because the script does not realtime render each and every post, instead is stores a cached version.
