That should do much better than your old my.cnf

is the forum and server performing better ? http://www.turkforum.net/sql.php suggests it's doing good :)

Server is now more stable and much faster.

But i have a question. If you can find time to answer these couple of quiestions when you have time:)

I will try to split the load between 2 servers. I was thinking about 1 for apache and 1 for mysql.
I was thinking about using the dual opteron 242 for mysql.
and wanna order p4 1 gb ram for apache or » Athlon XP 2500+» 1GB DDR PC2700

1-Is there a big difference between athlon and p4?Which one do u recomend?
2-For dedicated mysql server can use the same settings?

Stick witha P4 if it has HT.

Yes there can be, by no means am I a huge P4 fan (altho I have a few) I really like AMD for ALOT of things, but P4's HT in server enviroments really preform well, unless you can get processors of some sort :)

If you do get a second box for mysql if its possible have mysql on its own disk, It seems to boost preformce abit.
