I don't know if this question has been asked already- I did a search and couldn't find what I needed. Here goes:

Is there a simple way to show a link to the subforums on the main page? What I'd like to do is have it in the same box as the description for the parent forum.

For example:

Chit Chat
There is no set topic on this forum- just a place to come and chat and have some fun.
Subforums: Rants, Raves, Other Stuff

The subforums would be linked. I don't want to do anything complicated, just make readers aware that there are forums beneath the parent one. Any advice or ideas would be appreciated- I really need to get a book on PHP, I'm addicted to vbulletin!

Thanks!

1. Copy the template "forumhome_forumbit_level2_post" into a new template called "forumhome_forumbit_level3_post" and modify accordingly.

2. Increase the "ForumDepth" option under Options -> Forum Home to include subforums on the main page.

Thanks, WLuke! That helps get what I need on the page, now I just need to figure out how to format it to look right. What I'd like to have is a simple text link of all subforums right under the forum description, in the same box if possible.

Going to play with it a little later on today and see if I can come up with anything. Thanks so much for your help!

Ok, I feel like an idiot! There is a very simple way to do it if you don't mind doing it manually, and it won't add any more queries or anything to the main page. I simply hardcoded the links in the description of each category. It looks nice, it doesn't take up much space, and it works for me! Of course, if I change something, I'm going to have to re-edit the descriptions, but that's not a biggie.

Thanks for the help! I was making it more complicated than it needed to be!
