install problem

When i tried to install the lite version I had the following error message, could someone help me?

You possibly provided an incorrect password/username.

My username/password do seem to be correct. Do you have any other ideas as too why it might not work? In any event thanks for the suggestion.

Try setting localhost or Localhost (caps could matter, depending on the server OS) as the SQL server, rather than the IP address. This has fixed this error for other people (I believe).

Okay..I got the script set up now, and logged into the admin. But when I try to access my forum I get this error

"Parse error: parse error in /home/websites/www.digitalmzx.net/vblite/index.php on line 69"

If i access the forumdisplay.php directly..then it works...but it says something about not having selected a forum.

Can anyone help?
