I am currently running vBulletin 3.0.5 on a norwegian WebHost
(It`s not made live yet, and will not be live before after 1. February)

I have 1000 MB WebHotel with unlimited bandwith
They have ftp and mySQL on separate servers.

My problem is that even it`s just me who is logged into my vBulletin board,
I often get Server Load Averages from 6 to 8
(They told me this server has 4 CPU`s)
So often my pages load very slowly.

So I since I have 2 computers in my home, and have
2 Mbit internet conection (symetric 2048/2048),
I would like to use one of my computers as a webserver.

The Computer:
(going to be Webserver)

Asus P4C800
Pentium 4 - 3.2 GHZ
768 MB DDR RAM
80GB System Disc
200GB Disc for general purpose saving
Windows XP Home Edition SP2

This computer is conected to internet from ny cable provider

My second computer is conected to internet though this computer
(using Intel Gigabit card)

My second Computer is my Main Work station:
()

Asus P4C800-E DELUXE
Pentium 4 - 3.2 GHz HT Enabled
1024 MB DDR RAM
80 GB System Disc
160 GB Genneral Disc
300 GB SATA Disc (16MB Cache) (Maxtor)
Windows XP Home Edition

When I surf internett, both computers will show on same IP
(http://www.whatismyip.com)

What i did:

Installed:

Apache 2.0.52
PHP 5.0.3
mySQL 4.0.8

Setup:
DNS forwarding:
http://test.datola.biz -> My Ip adress

The problem is that I can see this webpage from my workstation PC,
but all other person I asked onley get error page.

Any sugestions?

Your ISP has port 80 blocked. To test this to find out for sure set Apache to listen on port 8080 and go to http://test.datola.biz:8080. If you see the site there then you know port 80 is blocked.
