I have done a ton of editing on VB 2.03, and decided I want to start out with VB 1.16. But I have done a ton of editing the templates in 2.03. I would like to export them somehow and SAVE the work and delete the install of VB 2.03 (running low on server space.)
Is there some easy way to do this?
I am not a techie...so if you could spell it out in detail, that would be cool. Thanks, Evoir

Firstly v 1.1.x does not have a template import mechanism so you would need to ask this question in the mysql forum in regards to exporting and importing one table (template).
Secondly the templates from v2.0 are going to be different, sometimes significantly from v1.1.x templates.

Thank you freddie, but that is not why I was asking. I spent probably 3 weeks editing templates in version 2. I would like to save them in case I ever decide to use version 2.
I know they are different in version 1. I don't plan on importing them.
Is there a way for me to export and save the work i have done in version 2?

Sure just go to Styles->Download/Upload->Download one of your stylesets.

I simply edited the main set. Do I simply export the main set? Part of the reason I am not using version 2 is that it is so darn confusing to me.
All I did was edit the default list by clicking on "change original" do I just export those and if I ever need them, inport them to the new install of vb 2.0x?

You can just export the 'default' style then.

ok. I exported the default set. Will now delete version 2 off my server. May install it again when the when it is out of beta.
