you will get alot of database erros and slowness out of f2s or just bout any freeserver if your board gains alot of traffic but then what can ya expect for free right

On other boards I heard that there were problems with www.f2s.com using PGP and mySQL especially with phpnuke...

Well, let me first explain about free hosts.


The security is very poor - no matter what they say.
PHP usually runs in safe mode
its slow because they pack hundreds of people on 1 server
Eventually, you will get ad banners - look at Datablocks


The two that come to mind which are free are

Freedom 2 Surf.net

and

Datablocks.net

Datablocks is better for the MySQL because its shared. You get 20 MB amd thats space + mysql.

With f2s, you get 5 MB database and 20 MB webspace
