Problem importing UBB files

When I import a forum with only 1000 posts I get always at the same moment:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time exceeded in /big/dom/mydomain/www/community/admin/import.php on line 124

Should I contact my Hosting P ?

No need to contact your hosts. That error occurs when the scripts run out of time, so PHP shuts them down. Turn down the number of messages that you are importing, and it should all run fine.

Wait 'till your users see the new BB. In the first few days that I installed vB (upgrading from UBB) half of the posts on the board were about how great the new board was! That's entertainment...
