ok im thinking.

When upgrading does it do the whole thing cuase ive been told it wont do the admin panel :o i want to convert the whole thing so not one trace of phpbb is left behind. basically i want it like a fresh install of vbulletin just with all the post's ect carried over

And how easy is it to convert it?

unsure why. so does it convert the whole thing admin panel and all or just the forums themselfs.

Im upgrading as i dont want my 220 members to resign up again and lose all threads ect from phpbb im running version 2.0.9 and upgrading to 3.0.3 vbulletin

Thanks all

John

Hello John,

Thank you for your interest in the vBulletin forum software and for contacting vBulletin Sales.

Jelsoft has developed inhouse a Import/Export system called ImpEx which comes with import scripts, including one for phpBB. Here is the status of the current system and the scripts we've developed: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=102412

Here are the details for phpBB: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showpost.php?p=657606&postcount=2
It will not import the Admin Control Panel. It will use the vBulletin admin control panel. But it will take over some settings and options. But you will be able to import the Users, their Threads and Posts and Private Messages, etc. That post explains it all.

Your members do not have to sign up again or loose their post count.

We're looking forward to your purchase.

Please let me know if you require any further assistance.
All the best,
