Hello,

If I currently do not have a server, is there a way I can pay you a monthly or yearly fee of some sort to host my forum with your software like they do at IPB?

Hi there,

Thank you for your interest in our forum software.

We do not host the forum software, you have to find your own hosting solution.
We only sell the forum software. You can pay $85 for a leased license or $160 for a owned license. The leased license allows you to run vBulletin for 12 months, whereas the owned license has no time limit.

Why so many cost? Im having to pay for the purchase, then I have to find a server for about $100 per month minimum?

If you are looking for a host you should be able to find one that will suit your needs from the many suggested by other vBulletin users in our Hosting Forum (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=11)

Yes, but were only talking about a forum here.... Ill have to find someone else...This is out rageous. Are there any resellers by any chance?

No, we do not have a reseller program. These are our prices for our software.

Many of us here consider vBulletin as the Porche (use your own car anology) of the bulletin board world. Have you heard the phrase, "You get what you pay for?" It certainly applies here.

You do not need a dedicated server to run vBulletin. There are many hosting companies that will sell you space on their servers for as low as $2.00 or $3.00 a month.
