A suggestion for the final version:

Create a manual that is extensive in every aspect. Provide a description of every single option and screenshots of how it looks in it's default stage and then create some common adjustments/edits and provide a screenshot.

What would really be great if the manual was a complete guide on how to create a ficticious (totally customized) bb from the ground up. The current trial and error approach is extremely difficult, frustrating, and time consuming.

I think this is a good idea to do after v2 comes.
It could even be written to a PDF file afterwards for easy printing etc.

I just cannot express enough - my true frustration from the poor/un-thorough/... manual. Thats all, good night.

Look at Internet Explorer 6 beta, does it have a manual? Or how about Windows XP alpha, does it have a manual?

I know :) that's why I said in my post "I think it is a good idea to do after v2 comes."

Yes, but version 1 is a full release and the current manual applies to both.

Actually the current manual is fine for 1.1.X

There are so many changes with 2.0 that there is no way that manual applies. A pretty beefy manual is already in progress and most likely will be released when vBulletin 2.0 is released as distributed software.

I also think this will help fix/improve alot of features if the designers create a new board from scratch. They will see first hand what needs improvements or added features.

I agree that a more detailed manual would be sweet, but I find that using the search feature on these forums is an excellent way to find answers to any and all questions (most of them anyways).
