Should I rebuild the search index after an import? Everything seems OK but thought I would ask.

Thats why I asked because I didn't see anything in the on-line manual that says you needed to?

Yes, it is adviced to update the counters, this included clearing search index and rebuilding it. I will update the manual entry to be a bit more specific. This will be updated at the next round of manual updates.
