Newbie import question --> using MS SQL on current board

I don't know whether this will be a problem or not; I searched the forums and the install documentation but found no mention of the issue...

I currently have a phpBB 2.0.10 board, using MS SQL rather than MySQL, which I'd like to import to vB. Is this going to cause problems for standard importer?

The standard importer AFAIK does not support MSSQL. :/

Talk to Jerry? He wrote an import script for FuseTalk which is MS SQL -> MySQL.

Thanks for the suggestion! At this point I've decided it'll be easiest just to dump the old data and start fresh. We'd only been open for 2 weeks under the old board (though we did have 126 members and over 6000 posts already...).

Don't dump it, detach it and PM me to get hold of a copy and I'll write the importer.

It would be great to have a MS-SQL option to the phpBB importer as well.
