Hi, I'm trying to import from IB 1.3 to vB 3.0.3. I got Impex installed, and hit start import on the 1) and it does this.

There seems to have been a slight problem with the XboxGN Area512 database.
Please try again by pressing the refresh (http://javascript%3cb%3e%3c/b%3E:window.location=window.location;) button in your browser.

An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff (admin@xboxgn.com), who you can also contact if the problem persists.

In ImpExConfig, set targetdatabase to :

targetdatabase = "XboxGN Area512"

i.e. make sure its quoted

So, your impex config has this in it :

sourceexists = true
......
......
......
sourcedatabase = shortee_ibrd2

?

And the username and password you are using is correct ?

I figured it out w/ my test boards, but It didnt work to the full extent. Do you have AIM or MSN, so you could do it on my REAL boards? I'd really appreciate it.

I provide support via support@vbulletin.com once the support team deem that it is an issue that requires development support.

Alright, since I've now completely trashed my test forums (http://www.xboxgn.com/vB-test-screwed.JPG), I've emailed you support asking for them to do it to my real boards. I don't want to mess them up.

This is why we advise testing.

Though with out being able to run the 001 module correctly, the target forum wouldn't of been touched at all, appart from adding some import ids.

Yep, that was my test forum :) Luckily I actually read the docs and saw that I should do it on a test before :-P

Judging from your database name - it looks like this was an Fantastico installed invision forum?

Fantastico installed invision with the table prefix "ibf_"
You'll need to set that also in the config for Impex in order to import info.

I did, but I totally screwed my test board installations. I want someone else to do the importing of my REAL board that I can trust.

...... but I totally screwed my test board installations ........

With out 001 running, none of the other modules could of run or effected the target board.
