txt files are already in the allowed extension list.

James, I think Fred's suggesting that Mas*Mind use .txt files instead of HTML files. :)
Fred, as you may know, there is a huge difference between TXT and HTML files. For hack descriptions and installation instructions, HTML files would be much better, given the functionality of tables, images, links, etc.

bad idea... it's highly insecure... think about the things that a person can do w/html, java, javascript, perl, etc... if we upload something as html the vbulletin server will parse it as html (as you pointed out). that could be very bad and somebody would take advantage of that some time... unfortunatly it's the few that ruin things for the many... don't upload html if you want it parsed... instead, provide a working link....
