Hi,
Not sure if this is the proper forum, but i wanted to say thanks to Jerry for writing a conversion script for WWF to VB! I finally got my forum (www.dieselplace.com (http://www.dieselplace.com)) converted last night. The conversion script worked well. A friend of mine wrote a couple scripts to fix some of the missed items in the import (smileys and pictures weren't displaying as well as a couple minor things).
I had problems getting php to talk to MS SQL 2000, but i found out I had to install SQL client tools on the PHP server as well as a couple DLL's. I also had to modify my PHP.ini to include MS SQL support. If anyone ever needs to do this conversion i'd be happy to help.
My previous forum software ran on 2 dual proc. compaq servers and was horribly slow with 80 users online... Vbulletin is extremely fast on 1 slower, single processor server (temporary). I'm so happy I just wanted to say thanks to Jerry and the VB team for making such a fast forum!
