I imported fom phpbb successfully many months ago, until I noticed some old posts, and some people's last activity is noted as 1969, even though all counters are updated. How do I fix that? Re-importing is not an option, I imported many months back. thanks

If you've already updated all the counters, then there is no way to fix this except to manually edit the dateline for these posts in the database.

Yes. There is no other way to do this.

I'm having a similar issue only all of my posts show 01/01/1970 after importing posts/threads over from ipb 1.3
How do I update the counters? or is this not the solution for my problem?

To update the counters:
Admin CP -> Import & Maintenance -> Update Counters

Thanks much - I overlooked it in there :(
Things are running smooth now :)

Well - this has fixed everything except for a handful of users who show their last visit as 1969.
I didn't run all the things in the update counters section. Wasn't sure if I could do that safely. So - SHOULD I run through them all? or just do these manually?

I had the same problem. I updated all the counters per the instructions, but I still have many (but not all) users with a "last visit date" of 12-31-1969.

Things that like will update and dissapear as the users use the board.
