Hello my fellow vBers

I need some help from you finding the below things:
- Drivers for my Linksys WiFi card that are Linux-compliant (it is a general Wireless-B Notebook Adapter driver)
- Power info about Linux and Laptops
- And the below programs for Linux

E-mail Client
IRC Client
FTP Client
Gameboy Advance Emulator

Genesis Emulator
Your help is greatly appreciated! :D

Erm, Linux and laptops generaly dont mix, or at least mix well, I've had so many problems i scraped the idea.

AFAIK, only the newer 2.6.x kernel's have better support for wireless and laptops. Linksys makes a wireless driver for linux IIRC for the adaptor, (i know i have it).

Email Thunderbird?
IRC xchat ?
ftp, theres the one in console :D
Not sure about the GBA Emu
zsnes has a linux port
wouldn't know. :)

I would recomend Gentoo if you are willing to take a long and hard route for a uber optimized system, if not, run with fedora core 3, or mandrake :)
