A buddy of mine has purchased the forums but we can't figure out how to change avatar size. And I am unable to post it in the questions area...

If you have a question, then please note that to be able to post in the support forums you first need to register for Priority Forum Support. To do this, please go here:

http://www.vbulletin.com/members/me...rt_priority.php (http://www.vbulletin.com/members/membersupport_priority.php)

...and enter your email address (the one you used to register on the forums) in one of the boxes. You'll need to have your customer number and password to access that page.

Note: Only Moderators and Admin can start new threads in the Bugs forums. If this is what you are trying to do you can post in the Troubleshooting forum first and if it's confirmed as a Bug, then one of the Mods will move it.

If you have done all this and still have problems, then please send an email to support@vbulletin.com with this info:

- your forum user name
- the email address you registered with
- your customer number

You or the license owner will need to add your email address to the Priority Support forum to get help on these forums.

Unfortunately I can find no license in the system for that URL. Please have the owner of this site contact us immediately.

do you have access via FTP? If you do, copy the header portion of index.php and paste it into here.

Copy the parts between the

/*============================*\
and
\*============================*/

erm, no... FTP, not HTTP

You need to login via FTP and download the index.php file physically. Then you need to open it up in notepad and copy the section I asked about.

well I might warn you, that if he didn't give you that information, he's most likely running a pirated copy.

I've known the guy for 3 years and i doubt it, how can u tell bye just looking at forums I look at this one and at ours and see no difference. (any chance we can speak more on msn)

ManagerJosh
Thu 11th Nov '04, 2:54am
Until you open up a PHP file, there is no way I can say to convince you or myself it is a legit or pirated copy

Admiral West
Thu 11th Nov '04, 2:56am
Ok will do, is there an email i can contact you at. To be honest I am completely new with this so don't know exactly where to pull it out so when i talk to him I can email u it. And if bye chance it is which i doubt but know where ur comming from I'm going to be getting a license because I don't belive in piracy
