Hi, I have a few questions I was hoping you could answer for me.

1. I wanted to use a portal much like this one (http://www.dssrookie.com/) (it is using vbullentin). I don't see on your site anywhere to view the demo. I only see This is possible right with the new vbulletin software? I would like it set up much like that site.
2. I would like the avatars to be unchangeable up to a certain # of posts. For example, there would be default avatars set to a rank and each time you change the rank a new default avatar is set. Once you hit a ultimate rank (post #715 for example) the user would then have the option to change their avatar. Is this possible?
3. I would like to have the calendar used as a real schedule dates. For example, I want to be able to have a day colored in and then with a description and possible time attache to the day. Would this be possible?
4. I would also like to have polls setup on the main page of the portal. This is doable right?

Sorry for the basic questions. I hope you would answer me. I've only seen the portal used at that site I listed above and mostly forums used with your software so that's why I'm confused with the portal side of things. Thanks for your time.

1. Check vbulletin.org for different portal add-on. We do not provide add-ons or official support for them.

2. This requires modifying the code. Once you are a customer you can try asking for help with this over at vbulletin.org.

3 and 4. Same as #2.

Steve, for number 2 you do without hacking.

You could use the usergroup promotion system to bump the users up to different usergroups based on number of posts. Then you could have different default choose-able avatar sets which you can set the permissions on, and then the top usergroup can chose to upload their own avatars. It wouldn't require much work to setup, either.

In #2 he is asking for "default avatars set to a rank and each time you change the rank a new default avatar is set." You cannot assign a default avatar to a rank without modifying the code.
