Invitation Only Memberships?

Does vBulletin allow for Invitation Only memberships?

We will have a private forum. Though moderated signups is ok, it would be best if the prospective member needed an "invitation code" before even being able to complete the sign up form. The invitation code would be emailed from vbulletin after the admin pre-registered their email address. Is this available?

This is not possible by default but I do not see why it would not be possible to do by some other means, you should try asking at the vBulletin.org presales area as they will be better able to assist you :)

How many users are you looking at? You could possible enter them directly via the admin control panel.
