Script Not Updating?

There's probably a simple solution to my problem, but here goes anyway.

I first installed version 0.9.0 and set everything up. Then I recently saw that 0.9.1 is available. So I downloaded it and uploaded everything and re-installed. But it still shows up as 0.9.0...what is the problem? The zip file I have seems to indicate that it's the latest version, but still no update.

That's because the $versionnumber (or whatever) is stored in the database and must be updated from there.

And how would I go about doing that?

Edit the options template in phpMyAdmin if it's that big a deal to you.

No, it's not just the version #...it just seems as though the script isn't upgrading. How do I refresh the database?
